I'm a paragraph. Click here to add your own text and edit me. I’m a great place for you to tell a story and let your users know a little more about you.

At BTC we row under Hants and Dorset therefore we go to regattas in Hampshire and Dorset and follow their code of conduct. We are classed as division 22 however regattas such as the South Coast Championships and Southsea are also rowed by other regions and therefore we follow the South Coast rules during thoughs regattas.

What does it mean that BTC have a Clubmark Accreditation ?

It shows that the club provides the right environment which ensures the welfare of members and encourages everyone to enjoy sport and stay involved throughout their lives. An accredited club is recognised as a safe, rewarding and fulfilling place for participants of all ages as well as helping parents and carers know that they're choosing the right club for their young people.

What social events do BTC have ?

Social events range from themed nights to birthday parties. Every year we have diffrent social events which are usually hosted in the club bar. Themed nights are popular where its just a themed evening to socialize with other rowers, people also hire out the hall for birthday parties. Every year we have a Halloween and Christmas party which even other clubs come to! After regattas sometimes we host barbeques however the club bar is usually open on a Tuesday and Thursday for general use. The Junior-16 snack bar is also usually open on Saturdays during and after training.

Do I have to have my own rowing boat ?

No worries, when you join you pay a fee to borrow the clubs boats however if you have your own boat you are free to use it instead.  If you want to keep your boat in the club house then speak to club captain Malcolm Hume   however you will have to pay a fee.
